Che Flory

Unconventional. Unabashed. Unforgettable.

Che Flory is an artist in every sense of the word. They are an actor, director, dramaturg, playwright, essayist, and novelist, which is far too many titles for one person. Their favorite theatrical experiences are fiery new works and high-energy classics, but if the work offends the right people, they can be sold on anything.

They grew up in Ohio, which they traded in for Fargo, North Dakota to go to North Dakota State, where they are pursuing a BFA in Performance. If you want to mock them, they expect North Dakota jokes because the Ohio ones are stale.

They are a proud member of the Dramatists Guild and the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of North America. Their first full-length play, 1217 is Having Faith & Belief in Your Guardian Angels, is available on the New Play Exchange. Their other works are scattered across several literary magazines. They are currently working on their first novel, a queer romance between two circus performers, as well as a few full-length plays.

On the rare occasion they are not working, they are probably travelling the world alone because they aren’t keen on staying in one place for long.
